I was extremely honored when North High School asked me to come back and give my domestic abuse presentation to their whole school. There were four presentations that I did along with another woman who lost her daughter to a drunk driver. We presented to 1,800 teenagers about the choices we make and the effects they have on the people around us. I am grateful to have been given such a wonderful opportunity to get my message across to such a large group of teenagers. North High is having their prom this weekend and I pray that they all apply what they have learned from our presentations and make positive choices. After the presentations were over I stopped up at the ISD 622 District Education building to finalize some things for our event this Sunday, Anna’s Hope. While up there I stopped in to visit with the Superintendent of ISD 622, Patty Phillips. She is such a kind and motivating woman and I am glad I was able to stop in for a quick visit.
Until next time,
