Anyone who knows my family could tell you that we are all huge Disney fans. Since I was a little girl my mom has firmly believed that Walk Disney World is the happiest place on Earth. I was very blessed because my parents used to take my sister and me to Walt Disney World every year; I have been to Disney World nine times including this last trip we took. This last trip seemed extra magical because this trip I was no longer a child experiencing the magic, I was an adults watching a toddle experience Disney magic for the very first time!
I have always loved Disney World but this trip meant even more to me because I was able to share it with my niece. Our first day on our vacation was my niece’s 2nd birthday. While checking into our hotel they were passing out balloons to kids so I went up and asked if I could get one for my niece since it was her birthday. The woman I asked went into the back to get more balloons and came out with a special little birthday balloon bouquet she gave to my niece. The lady at the counter was super friendly and when she heard it was my niece’s birthday she gave us an “it’s my birthday” button. While I was writing her name on it the woman who gave us the button disappeared and came back with a full sized Minnie Mouse stuffed animal to give as a birthday present from Disney. These are just a couple acts of Disney’s Magic at its finest.
We had the best time celebrating my niece’s birthday. She got to meet her favorite Disney Junior characters, who both fascinated and terrified her. The highlight of my entire vacation though was watching my sweet niece meet the Disney Princesses. Snow White loved my niece so much that she gave her a kiss on her cheek that left a huge red kiss mark on her chubby little cheek. When my niece met Belle (who quickly became her favorite Disney Princess) she sat on her lap and introduced Belle to her mom. As much as I love the rides at the Disney Parks I have to say that my favorite part about Disney is the interactions kids have with the Disney Princesses and characters.
Overall I had an entertaining vacation with my family at Walt Disney World. We created many memories I will cherish for the rest of my life. Oh, and I still believe that Walt Disney World is the happiest place on Earth and that we are never too old to experience Disney Magic.
Until next time,
