Today, as part of my job description I had the opportunity to host the 2014 Miss Minnesota Contestants at Mall Of America. This was move in day for the girls and after they got settled into their hotel rooms they came right over to visit MOA.
They had an extra special experience at Mall Of America. The contestants had a blast visiting Barbie’s Dream House which is one of three exhibits we have here at MOA. This traveling exhibit came from Berlin, Germany and is here for three years. The girls also got to spend some time seeking thrills on a variety of rides at Nickelodeon Universe. Lastly, they ended their sort visit at Sky Deck where they ate great food and had some fun playing arcade games and bowling.
It was a bittersweet experience; I was happy to play a role in their Miss Minnesota week but at the same time I really wanted to be there competing along with the rest of the contestants.
Until next time,
